Angel Field Weeping Willow Trees
These Native Americans' famous Weeping Willow "Salix babylonica" Transplants is the Historical Tree they used to place food and winter vegetables under, as many Americans worked hard to get to their freedom at Fort Monroe in Virginia during the Civil War. Our Weeping Willow Tree is known for its 60-foot-tall height, followed by drooping limbs that are just breathtaking in terms of true history and safety. As the branches sweep the ground, especially with raindrops falling from the leaves like tears of shade. Its name comes from the raindrops falling from its leaves in spring, which Native Americans used as Medication to control the pain, taught to the Contraband Slaves of Fort Monroe, who did not follow the Trail of Tears in the early 1800s.
These trees' lifespan is over 50 years.
Be cautious not to plant near septic systems or building foundations. Their roots have been known to cause damage or get infestations of gypsy moths causing a fungus named Venturia saliciperda, which causes blackish-brown spots on the leaves.
Please collect a Shipping Fee because they weigh more than tomato plants.
