These Historical Collard Greens were grown on this Historical Farmland in 1864 by Shepard Mallory and "Farmer Joyce" Great Grandfather as a part of his Seed Supply from Native Americans who helped him get to Fort Monroe. Widely grown in North & South Carolina, expecily near "Little Mountain South Carolina". This Collard is also used to make sauerkraut from the leaves. These Collard Green grown on compact plants with green "yellow-green-blue leaves in colour Light green petinles round leaf blades, dentate marge. Forming a Cabbage-like head during the Fall.
